Many companies regularly organize projects which require professionals assigned to lead that specific project to a successful completion after which they are not required anymore. Such professionals are also known as interim professionals. Because there is a high demand for such professionals many temporary employment agencies have specialized in the job assignment of experienced interim professionals allowing companies to hire the right professional for their specific project. The 7 Talent agency is such a temporary employment agency which is especially focusing on the delivery of interim professionals which are specialized in as well online as offline communication projects.
A professional website
An agency offering professionals to other companies of course requires a professional website. The agency founders had been thinking about a professional website for a while and at the end of 2012 they finally gave their go and they appealed to a webdesign company to design their new website. This resulted into a straightforward, modern and professional website. This was only the beginning though because they only had Joomla experience and no HTML, CSS and PHP knowledge. That’s why they knocked at our door requesting us to take care of the PSD to Joomla process allowing them, after the actual completion, to easily manage their website by means of the user-friendly Joomla CMS.
From PSD to HTML to Joomla
As it goes with each new project all pages were analyzed page by page making it crystal clear for us how all the different pages and page elements needed to function in order to avoid future discussions or misunderstandings. When everything was crystal clear for our developers, our Joomla developer could kick off the PSD conversion process. First of all the PSDs were converted to HTML and CSS after which the Joomla template could be built allowing all page content to be easily added, adjusted or removed. Besides developing the Joomla theme, we also created a direct Twitter link which would show the last 3 tweets of the company directly on the company’s website.
The latest vacancies
Thanks to the clever Joomla blog functionality, we chose to manage and monitor the open vacancies by means of this same blog functionality. This blog functionality turned the vacancies in a sort of blog items which allowed the company’s employees to easily maintain, manage and update the vacancy offer on the website and to quickly add, adjust or remove vacancies by means of the user-friendly CMS. Finally, by means of an XML feed the vacancies could be easily ready and uploaded to other websites.
Free installation
Upon completion and upon installing the whole Joomla project on our demo server we requested the client to take a look at the final result. After implementing the client’s feedback and upon complete client satisfaction we installed the website on the client’s server. The old website had now been replaced by a brand new website and the client could immediately start using it.
