A website as stunning as the accommodations
A company owning its own resort of course needs a website which clearly reflects the resort’s characteristics and what the resort’s surroundings have to offer. It was about time a new website was designed to attract more visitors and to convince them to book an accommodation. First of all we had a good thought about the resort’s strengths and benefits because these needed to be displayed on the website’s homepage. These strengths were the basis for the web designer to design a new website, which after the design was completed, was sent to us via a PSD file.
Developing a website based on a Joomla CMS
After reviewing and analyzing all designs, the client indicated the design not only needed to be converted to HTML and CSS, but it also consisted of a PSD to Joomla project because he wanted to be able to manage the content of the different pages in a user-friendly way. The client had some previous positive Joomla experience and that’s why he insisted to use Joomla. This wasn’t a big issue at all and upon agreeing the whole process our Joomla developers started to work with the PSDs. The web designer had created a simple but clear, effective and straightforward website allowing our Joomla developer to finish his development time in the blink of an eye. As usual the various pages were converted to HTML and CSS after which the different HTML pages on their turn were converted to a Joomla theme whereby the website’s content could be easily managed and adjusted via the Joomla CMS. Because the PSDs were converted to Joomla, it was an easy task for the client to add additional pages because he could choose one of the different pre-set templates and there was always a suitable template at his disposal.
Free installation
Altogether the Joomla developer needed about 7 working days to complete the whole conversion process after which the client was requested feedback and the developer could install the whole project the same day on the client’s server allowing him to immediately start using his website. Thanks to our fast delivery the website went live much sooner than expected which on its turn resulted into quicker resort reservations.
