Even large industrial companies like Saraber need a PSD to Magento project and a new website once in a while to keep their company up-to-date. Websites get outdated after a while displaying wrong content or an outdated lay-out which doesn’t reflect a company’s activities anymore. As usually also Saraber appealed to a webdesign company to design the actual website after which they looked for a PSD to Wordpress company to realize the design to a stunning, organized and easy-to-maintain website conversion.
The PSD to HTML conversion
Upon completion of the design and satisfaction of the client we were requested to start the PSD file to a fully-functional Wordpress theme conversion. Because our client had some previous Wordpress experience and was delighted about the Wordpress features and functionalities, choosing Wordpress as CMS was quite self-evident. Because our client was easily convinced by consulting our website, our extended portfolio and our PSD to Wordpress knowledge and expertise, we were able to a quick start. As a common first step in the process we started the PSD to HTML and CSS conversion. At this phase a proper display in all browsers and a proper display on all tablets, mobile phones and smartphones are of main importance. During the HTML/CSS conversion we took this into account and only upon full conversion completion we requested the client’s feedback.
Combining client feedback and Wordpress integration
While our client spent some time carefully reviewing all of his pages, our PSD to Wordpress developers were not idle and had already started the Wordpress integration process. At the start of the project namely, we were made clear a fully-functional Wordpress theme was the objective and therefore we decided to already kick off this process step. Also because minor flaws can easily and quickly be corrected at a later stage by adjusting the CSS file. This CSS file has no link at all with the PSD to Wordpress process and we therefore were able to gain a few days and to deliver the whole project well in advance of the agreed deadline. At the same time, while are PSD to Wordpress developers were focusing on their tasks, our passionate front-end developer handled the client’s feedback and made sure all feedback was taken care of within the same day.
Only one round of feedback to reach perfection
After resolving the first round of feedback our client was fully satisfied with the delivered work and only two days later we also completed the PSD to Wordpress process. The complete project was installed on our own server allowing the client to perform a final review. No additional errors or bugs were discovered and we therefore managed to deliver the project two days in advance of the deadline. Our client was very satisfied with the delivered project!
