Many Internet companies offer a wide range of services as long as the client requests and issues are related to the online world. The Belgian company Novation is such a company which can help you with all your Internet related stuff. Because we have been working with this company for a long time we can highly recommend their services when looking for a stunning web design or a strong SEO campaign. Novation was aiming for a new Drupal website and therefore appealed to their designers to build a next generation website. As a result they created a stunning website which would cover the full width of a screen and which also needed to become fully responsive.
Taking control of their own HTML creation
Because the client disposed of the required HTML, CSS and Javascript skills and knowledge themselves, they decided to build the website basis themselves too. When they appealed to our company we were provided with a complete HTML, CSS and JS, which we were requested to convert into a fully-functional Drupal theme. As informed previously we were dealing with a Belgian client and because the Belgian government switched to Drupal in 2012, many Belgian companies and entrepreneurs also decided to switch to Drupal .
No PSD to Drupal but HTML to Drupal
We must admit it is rather an exception that we are provided with a complete HTML and we are only requested to convert this HTML into a CMS template. Of course this eases the whole project because we don’t have to bother the HTML conversion process anymore because the client delivered a ready-to-use HTML. Besides we were also informed the HTML was fully responsive and was tested in various browsers/resolutions so this was another step in the process we could skip. Our Drupal developer could immediately start developing the Drupal theme. The website still contained a few pages which weren’t so easy to convert to a Drupal theme page but thanks to our experienced Drupal developers we also managed to bring these pages to a good end. After about two weeks our developer had completed the conversion process and we reviewed the whole project to ensure a proper overall functionality .
A few HTML updates and we were done
When we requested the client to browse through and review the website, he was overall very satisfied. There were of course a few minor flaws but these flaws were mainly caused before we were handed over the project. Nevertheless we resolved the flaws in the blink of an eye which resulted into a happy client. They were now able to start using the delivered Drupal theme for their new website and upon installing the Drupal template for free on their server they could start adding content to the website in order to increase the website’s Google page rank and in order to inform clients and visitors with some proper information about recent projects and the services they delivered .
