The increasing popularity of the Internet has a negative impact on real estate agents because an increasing amount of potential clients puts their house up for online sale themselves or appeals to an online real estate agent to lower the costs. Nevertheless real estate agents will always be needed and consulted as long as these real estate agents are easily reachable online. The real estate agency Steenhuis is mainly active in the northern part of the Netherlands and is a renowned, respected and trustful partner within that region, especially because at the moment they also have the disposal of a fully-responsive website.
A new website focusing on a wide range of users
Before actually realizing his website, the new website was designed in order for the real estate agent to get an impression of his future website and to allow him to review it. Upon approval of the client the tablet and smartphone designs were developed after which the conversion to PSD files could be kicked off. The client requested his website to comply with the latest Internet standards, which made us go for a responsive HTML5 and CSS3 system. Because the project consisted of only two pages and because these pages didn’t contain tricky elements, converting the different pages was a rather easy task. Therefore we were able to deliver the whole project after only a few days and we also received an instant approval from our client, after which he appealed again to his media bureau to develop a custom cms allowing the client to easily manage and maintain his website. No matter if a user is using a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone, the website will always be clearly displayed and an optimized user-friendliness can be experienced.
