A new business card
This company’s website had been in use for many years and being a web design bureau their website is of course an important company’s business card and therefore renewal was a real requirement. Their previous website was very hectic and contained many colors and dynamic elements which for sure enervated a lot of people and which therefore also resulted into a high bounce percentage. When designing their new website, a design they of course had designed themselves, they had intentionally chosen to go for a simple and clear design which would attract people instead of scaring them away and which would make them submit orders or at least contact the bureau. They made sure all benefits choosing for this company are immediately clear, that visitors immediately know what to expect from this bureau, that visitors can consult current client reviews and that these same visitors can consult various portfolio items which clearly reflects the company’s skills, policy and philosophy.
Joomla as a strong foundation
The designs of the different new website pages were finally ready! Our company was appealed to, to convert all of these pages to an open-source CMS because they didn’t have the proper HTML and CSS knowledge and because they wanted to manage the website by means of a user-friendly admin panel allowing them to easily add all new portfolio items. They opted for our PSD to Joomla service because they had compared Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal and in the end they preferred Joomla. Everything had been discussed and everything was clear, after which we could assign a Joomla developer to execute this project. He needed about 9 working days to convert all PSD files into a fully functional Joomla theme. As soon as the template had been finished, we first installed it on our own demo server requesting the client to review it. After full approval from their side, we installed the theme for free on the client’s server after which they could start fine-tuning the website. During the whole project process they never had to worry about the HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP development.
