Are you going on a holiday and are you planning to have some golf fun during this trip or are you having a business trip upcoming and are you planning to play some golf with one or more of your business partners? Carrying your own clubs during your travel is often a tricky and nasty task because you have to carry them across a busy airport, you have to wait for them at the luggage delivery, you have to pay extra because they are considered additional luggage and you always have that fear they can get damaged or can be stolen. This stress can be taken away by renting your required clubs via Clubs to Hire. When arriving at the airport of your destination the clubs will be at your disposal and you will only have load the clubs in your car.

A professional website

Golf is a professional sport, so a website which rents golf clubs has to reflect this professionalism and needs to be professional on its own. The designer who has created the new Clubs for Hire website did a marvelous job creating a website which clearly communicates the website’s objective to potential clients and the way the rental process works. We were appealed to, to transform this professionalism into a fully-functional professional looking website which could be easily managed by means of the Joomla CMS.

PSD to Joomla

Before we actually started the project, all different designs were reviewed and a few questions around the website’s features and functionalities were answered. As soon as everything was crystal clear the actual PSD to Joomla process could be kicked off. First of all everything was converted to HTML and CSS. Because it was a rather large number of pages it took us about a week to finish this step. Upon reviewing the whole process several times and upon checking its proper functionality and display in all browsers, we were ready to convert everything to a fully-functional Joomla theme.

Joomla CMS

Converting everything to Joomla was a pretty big task because we also had to integrate an order process whereby clients should be able to clearly indicate which clubs they require, at which airport they would like to pick up their clubs and if they are male or female and right- or left-handed. Luckily enough the sky is the limit for all of our developers and the HTML to Joomla conversion took them only one week and a half. Altogether it took us more or less 2 weeks and a half to complete the whole project and we are really proud of the end-result. Each client is now able to rent a set of golf clubs at a very competitive price and no one has to carry around golf clubs unnecessarily anymore.
